I am committed to helping OAS FCU remain strong, responsible, and focused on providing quality service to every member.”

Joel Andrews currently serves on OAS FCU’s ALCO (Asset-Liability) Committee. He previously served on the Credit Committee from 2010 to 2016, acting as Chair of the Committee during his final year as a volunteer.

He is a citizen of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and joined the OAS in 1999. Prior to working at the OAS, he worked at Republic Bank Limited as an Accounts Clerk, Teller, and Foreign Exchange Specialist.

He currently serves as a Payroll Technician in the Human Resources Department, where he processes payrolls and taxes for Headquarters staff and reviews and approves payrolls for staff in the National Offices.

He has completed his high school diploma and advanced level studies in accounting and business and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at George Mason University.

He is an avid fan of football and supports Manchester United. He also plays football, though work, school, and family commitments limit his time. He enjoys reading, listening to music, participating in outdoor activities, and meeting new people.

Joel Andrews is a well-rounded and personable individual who believes he can help OAS FCU continue its mission of providing personalized, high-quality service to its members.
