Fiorella Medina currently serves as a Project Officer in the Department of Legal Cooperation of the Organization of American States (OAS), where she works on initiatives related to combating cybercrime. In this role, she supports the implementation and administration of projects aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and enhancing the institutional capacities of Member States.
Her responsibilities include developing project budgets, maintaining project accounts, and ensuring the proper administration of financial resources in accordance with institutional rules and donor requirements. In her daily work, she operates within the OAS financial and administrative framework, ensuring compliance with internal controls, institutional procedures, and accountability standards.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 2013, with a minor in Economics. Her academic background provided a strong foundation in economic analysis, international relations, and global governance.
In 2019, she completed the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University, where she further developed expertise in international security, public policy analysis, and institutional coordination.
